Cruisemaster 5900 Portable

Series 5900 Portable Petrol Fuel Monitoring Systems satisfy the need of boat builders, boat dealers, boating magazines and other members of the trade for an accurate, moderately priced fuel flow-meter for boat and engine testing . They are suitable for outboard, I/O and inboard petrol engines. Organisations like Power & Motor-yacht magazine and Mercury Marine use FloScan portable flow meters for performance and production testing.

• Quick Installation. Flow sensor connects into the fuel line near the fuel pump.
• Complete Set-up. The unit includes a meter, flow sensor with hose connections, and cable harness with alligator clip leads for connection to portable 12V battery (not included) which provides all necessary power.
• For Single and Twin Models. Models for twin engines include two sensors and meter with switch to select port or starboard engine fuel flow display; totalizer records fuel consumed by both engines.

• Self contained Totalizer with permanent LCD display records fuel consumed up to 9999 litres. Re-settable or non-re-settable operating mode.
• Model 264 Flow Sensor with integral pulsation damper and solid state signal generator for maintenance free use. Installs between tank and fuel pump.
• Model 231 Flow Sensor features extremely low flow resistance. Recommended for outboard engines over 150 HP where system flow resistance should be minimised. Installs between priming bulb and fuel tank.
• Microprocessor based electronics with user adjustable calibration for superior accuracy.
• Panel mounted instrument fits 3-1/16" opening deck mount.
• Twin engine models show the individual flow rates to each engine with an external switch (not supplied) and the Totalizer records the combined fuel consumption of both engines.

Series 76TX & 75TX

loScan Diesel Fuel Computers will help you to monitor engine performance, determine the most efficient speed to reduce fuel consumption, and extent your cruising range. Series 76TX and 75TX Systems are designed specifically for use on Detroit Diesel Series 53, 71, 92, 149, Caterpillar Series 31/3500 and EMD 12-16 series engines with their very high return flows of hot fuel. Temperature compensated, individually calibrated flow sensors and custom-programmed microprocessors ensure accurate flow measurement. The systems also include a digital tachometer and an electronic engine hour meter.

• Simultaneous display of GPH, Total Gallons Used, Engine RPM accurate to 1RPM, and Engine Hours. Dual colour back lighting provides for easy night vision with green middle window and amber top and bottom windows.
• Diagnostic mode enables you to monitor both the forward and return flow rates as well as fuel temperatures - a new method to spot engine problems before serious damage occurs.
• Re-settable totalizer with non-volatile memory immune to power interruptions. Reads in 0.1gallon increments to 9999.9, then in 1gallon steps to 99999gallons.

Cruisemaster 6500

Series 6500/6600 Diesel Cruisemaster Fuel Computers are available for most diesel engines in the 100-3000HP range. Consult the factory if the engine to be equipped is not listed in our Model Selection Guide. A system typically consists of two Flow Sensors to measure the forward and return flows, fuel flow Pulsation Damper(s) for engines which need them, and a microprocessor based instrument which calculates and displays net flow rate and total fuel consumption.

• Self-contained Totalizer with permanent LCD display records fuel consumed to 9999.0gallons. Select models are available with totalizer readings up to 99,999gallons (consult factory for availability). Totalizer is re-settable using external switch (not provided).
• Patented fail-safe Flow Sensors, which helped the Voyager in its round-the-world record breaking flight. Precision die-cast aluminium construction, sapphire jewel bearings and opto-electric signal generator for maintenance free operation.

Cruisemaster 65000 (Metric)

Series 65000 Diesel Cruisemaster Fuel Computers are available for most diesel engines in the 100-500HP range. Consult the factory if the engine to be equipped is not listed below. A system typically consists of two Flow Sensors to measure the forward and return flows, fuel flow Pulsation Damper(s) for engines which need them, and a microprocessor based instrument which calculates and displays net flow rate and total fuel consumption.

Series 7000

Series 7000 Multifunction Fuel Monitoring System combines a digital LCD Engine Hour Meter, Tachometer, Fuel Flow meter, and Fuel Totalizer in a single 3-3/8" diameter instrument, which fits the panel space of a standard tachometer. Perfect for determining the most efficient engine speed and the exact amount of fuel in your tanks. The instrument also incorporates an Engine Synchroniser Indicator. External toggle switches (not supplied) are needed for Port/Starboard selection, resetting the totalizer, and Engine Hours/Synchroniser selection. Models are available for virtually all Petrol engines and for most diesel engines.

• Models for single and twin outboard, stern drive and inboard Petrol engines from 50HP to 1000HP. Models for single diesel engines from 80HP to 3000HP. *Does not fit certain gas EFI engines with fuel return lines that are directly connected to fuel tank.
• Simultaneous, independent display of Engine Hours, RPM, GPH, and Total Gallons Used. Dual colour back lighting of LCD provides for easy night vision. Middle window has green back-light; the top and bottom windows are amber.
• Microprocessor controlled electronics with two stage adjustable calibration of GPH:Gal. for pinpoint accuracy.

Series 9000/9500/9600 Multifunction Meter

Series 9000 Multifunction Fuel Monitoring Systems provide the same functions as Series 7000 instruments PLUS the important addition of Nautical Miles-per-Gallon over the ground. The speed signal required is calculate the MPG reading is obtained from GPS and Loran systems having a NMEA 0183 serial port output.

• Models available for single and twin outboard, stern drive and inboard petrol engines from 50HP to 1500HP. Single engine models only for diesel engines from 80HP to 3000HP. *Does not fit certain gas EFI engines with return fuel lines that are directly connected to fuel tank.
• For boats with twin diesel engines a complete installation consists of two single engine models, (a Series 9000 and a Series 8000). The two instruments are linked with the Series 9000 displaying the combined MPG.
• Simultaneous, independent display of Engine Hours, RPM, GPH/MPG and Total Gallons Used. Dual colour back-lighting of LCD provides for easy night vision. • Models available for single and twin outboard, stern drive and inboard petrol engine from 20HP to 1500HP (except EFI engines, which have, return fuel lines to the tank). Single engine models only for diesel engines from 80HP to 3000HP.
• For boats with twin diesel engines a complete installation consists of two single engine models, (a Series 90000 and a Series 80000). The two instruments are linked with the Series 90000 displaying the combined MPG.
• Simultaneous, independent display of Engine Hours, RPM, I/h/I/N.M. and Total Litres Used. Dual colour back-lighting of LCD provides for easy night vision. Middle window has green back-light, the top and bottom windows are amber. External switches (not supplied) select I/h or I/N.M. Port or Starboard, and Totalizer reset.
• Engine Synchroniser indicator (included only in twin gas models) shows the difference in engine Rpm's on an easy-to-read bar graph. User can select bar graph graduations of 20, 50, or 100RPM.

• Tachometer / MPG / Synch Indicator uses an NMEA 0183 speed signal from a GPS or Loran, and a fuel flow signal from a TwinScan™ GPH instrument to digitally display Fuel Efficiency (NM/Gal) or the RPM difference between port and starboard engines.
• High-Low Level electronics controls for separate external alarm lights/horns for water temperature and oil pressure. User re-settable alarm levels.
• Internally illuminated pointers provide exceptionally effective night readability. The pointer shaft and a warning light in the pointer hub flash whenever a High/Low alarm level is exceeded.
• Microprocessor electronics for high performance features like electronic dampening, linear dial scales, superior accuracy unaffected by ground voltage shifts.
• Patented, magnetically shielded, precision, miniature air-core meter movement with state-of-the-art engineering features.
• Corrosion free stainless steel bezel (black, white or polished) and moulded acetal cases which fit standard 3-3/8" and 2-1/8" diameter holes.
• Reverse polarity and load dump protection exceeding SAE J1810 standards.
• 2" instruments have 140° wide sweep dials with linear scales for readability superior to the 90° scales in conventional gauges.
• Multiple 2" TwinScan instruments can run off a single station VDO or Datcon temperature or pressure sender; no need for dual station senders for multiple stations. Dual station applications require two sets of 2" TwinScan meters.
